WRAPPED UP in Blue

Cooler autumn days are here and it's now time to update your wardrobe with some selection of this season’s key coat and jacket styles. And where to look for them? Well I guess the best place with a huge range of styles is any big website which stocks different brands in one place so you can browse, scroll and compare until your fingers hurt :D (do you ever get that? when I'm scrolling and clicking for too long online I literally need a break after an hour or so because my arms hurt so badly :D) This time I visited John Lewis' website purely for the good quality brands they stock and I went for the electric blue Maison Scotch wool coat. And as I mentioned last week I'm gonna explain a little more about the blue colour and how others perceive it.

BLUE

Blue represents authority, structure, communication, dependability, trust and loyalty. Some shades or too much blue can reflect coldness. Wear blue when you want to exude power, have mental control, be conservative, respected or communicate an important message. Blue most of the time creates a more creative mood. Don't wear blue when you feel isolated, depressed or critical. Research done at the University of British Columbia found that because people associate blue with openness and peace, they feel safer exploring their ideas when they're surrounded by the calming colour.
