how to MIX PRINTS & patterns

You may feel that deciding what to wear each morning is enough to think about, let alone which prints go with what. But the truth is that mixing prints and patterns doesn’t have to be scary or complicated. It may seem a little tricky to pull off at first, but you have nothing to worry about :). Well from my point of view, you can mix everything with everything but if you a little new to this you might just follow these few rules:

1. STAY IN THE SAME COLOUR FAMILY

(mix prints with the similar colour tones, it's much easier to mix stripes and flowers if they have the same colour)

2. THE SIMPLER AND MORE GRAPHIC THE PRINTS, THE EASIER THEY ARE TO MIX

(stripes are probably the easiest print to mix)

3. CHOOSE PATTERNS THAT DON'T COMPETE

(don't go too matchy matchy)

4. GIVE THE PRINTS SPACE

(sometimes it looks better for the eye if you break the prints with the belt or a scarf so they don't blend together)

5. DON'T GO OVERBOARD

(2-3 prints are enough, don't go too crazy :P)
