faux SEPTUM
Nose ring has come a long way since its inception. People have actually been wearing septum jewelry since ancient times! Tribal people of the Aztec, Inca and Maya empires in Mexico and South America pierced their septum with jewelry made of gold or jade, while other ancient cultures used bones or tusks for a more dramatic appearance. This was either to signify a rite of passage or to create a more intimidating appearance.
Now, people just wear septum jewelry because they like the way it looks. Yes, JUST BECAUSE THEY LIKE IT! Same thing as wearing a bindi these days, it is a perfect edgy addition to your jewelry collection. It can take your look to entire different level and with a faux one, you don’t have to deal with needles or make a commitment, it's pain free yaaaaay ..and so you can be a accountant during the day and an edgy diva at night :P.
