XMAS at Covent Garden
Covent Garden is one of the London's most magical areas at Christmas. From 4th November the cobbled piazza and market buildings are glowing with fairy lights and giant baubles, turning the traditional shopping arcades into a winter wonderland for the festive season. A huge Christmas tree sparkles with red and white lights on the west side of the square, and a rather magnificent silver reindeer stands majestically on a pile of gifts on the east side. Even tho I was there a bit too late, so the market and most of the shops were closed down, the atmosphere was still there! This place really makes you smile :). Apparently there also is some live reindeer which visitors can help to feed and take photos with every Saturday afternoon between 12-4pm but I didn't catch him, gotta come back and take a selfie another day for my Instagram :P.
