4 days in PORTUGAL
Portugal was amazebaalllsss! 4 days full of sun and beach and sun and beach and nothing else :) How nice is to do nothing, just to chill on the beach the whole day? We flew to Faro, rented a car and drove 2 hours up to the mountains to Monchique Wellness Resort where we were staying. Really nice place, it was bed a breakfast what was exactly what we needed because we were leaving the hotel in the morning and coming back from the beach after the sunset. In the resort there was also really nice bar, where they made the best sausages ever, they were on FIREEEE (see pic on my instagram here). Every day we visited about 2 beaches, one in the morning and one in the afternoon where we watched the sunset :)
Beach below is in Lagos, only 10 minutes drive from the main central beach and it makes such a big difference. No tourists, only few locals around.
Vale dos Homens was a beach we found on google but we didn't expect it to look like this at all. I guess google has got some old updates as on the map it looks like it's a sandy beach, but the sand has all been washed out. We've been there for only couple of hours because the water was raising up so fast...
Praia das Furnas was a nude beach uppps :P but had some really cool waves!
Praia do Beliche was too many steps down!
And Sagres Fortress, basically a 15th century fortress build to provide assistance for seamen in the sagres region and was an important spot for commercial ships that did the connection between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. Even tho it was very hot outside, it was bloody windy, hence us wearing the hoodies.
